A global gambling and entertainment conglomerate seeks an experienced and operationally strong Finance Team Leader to join their fun and dynamic team based in Johannesburg North.

In this role you will be responsible for assisting with accounting, month-end and year-end reconciliations and preparation of audit files. You will also be managing the Financial Accountant, Junior Accountant and Creditors.

The role requires the candidate to be highly numerate, well organised and deadline driven.

The ideal candidate will have a strong creditors background, handling both national and foreign payments.

Duties include but not limited to monthly management reports, reporting, operations, audits and management of subordinates.

Education:

BCom degree in finance or accounting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 to 4 years' experience in an accounting position is essential

2 to 3 years' supervisory or team lead experience is non-negotiable

Strong creditors experience

Working with African countries and payments is non-negotiable

Strong creditors experience

Strong multi-national tax knowledge

Strong MS Excel skills

Microsoft Dynamics / Navision experience advantageous

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
