Finance and Accounting Manager
Based in CAPE TOWN - Montagu Gardens
R800 - R1.2
International Client establishing Offices in SA - They provide energy storage for the telecom, commercial, and industrial segments.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

MS Dynamics Nav exp pref
University degree in finance and accounting or related field
7+ years of accounting experience is required with comprehensive knowledge of the accounting cycle, consolidation of group accounts and accounting principles
Excellent knowledge of Accounting and Tax Standards including compliance requirements
Excellent abilities in the use of Excel
Very good knowledge of ERP accounting packages, preferably BC / NAV / AX
Previous experience with international companies is required

Tasks:

Management of 3rd party bookkeeping and accounting services
Transaction accounting, payments, and monthly closing process
Liquidity forecasting maintained weekly
Banking and payment procedures management
Monthly, quarterly, annual closing including consolidation with the group finance
Drive efficiency, costs reduction, organizational goals, policies and procedures
Supervision of local sourcing and procurement procedures ensuring compliance with IMS procedures and policies including Code of Conduct
Supervision of local IT systems management

Responsibilities:

In charge of Finance and Accounting management services for the site operations including local procurement and IT services
Responsible for finance and accounting reporting cycles towards relevant authorities and group finance
Ensure adherence to GROUP policies and procedures including coordination of audit procedures
Budget and forecasts compilation, drive adherence, reporting on variations and drive cost reduction initiatives
Establishment using 3rd party accounting services to be migrated inhouse with Group ERP systems
