Our client needs someone who is not just a numbers expert, but a collaborative team player ready to take on diverse financial responsibilities and contribute to the strategic growth of our organisation.

You''ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from daily cash management and payment approvals to monthly financial reporting and annual audits. If you''re ready to bring your expertise in financial accounting, payroll, and statutory submissions to a company that values integrity and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily financial operations, including cash management and payment approvals.
Oversee monthly financial accounting and reporting, including producing management accounts and handling VAT returns.
Execute payroll and related submissions using SAGE 300 & ESS and SARS Easyfile.
Prepare and submit various statutory returns to SARS, FSCA, ASISA, and StatsSA on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Conduct quarterly and annual audits for five entities.
Provide financial reporting for shareholders and manage client invoicing.
Monitor and manage budgets, debtors, and leave administration.
Support strategic initiatives with tasks like BBB-EE verification and risk management.

Requirements:

A relevant graduate or postgraduate qualification.
At least 5 years of experience in a financial accountant role.
Strong knowledge of accounting systems like SAGE Pastel Express and payroll systems like SAGE 300 & ESS.
Proficiency in statutory submission platforms like SARS e-filing and SARS Easyfile.
Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanour.
Strong ethics and an awareness of fiduciary duties.
Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
A collaborative spirit with a strong work ethic.
