SUMMARY:
A leading International Mobile Telecommunications company based in Northern Johannesburg requires the above to join their Finance Department within the Company.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A relevant Financial qualification is essential.
  • 5 to 6 years’ experience in Financial Administration and knowledge of SA accounting practices and SA legislation is essential.
  • Experience in Sage Evolution System.
  • Previous import and export experience essential.
  • 5 to 6 years’ experience in Sage 300 people payroll.
  • Supply Chain Co-ordinator experience 2-3 years advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and be meticulous and organised.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Finance

  • Processing and managing supplier invoices.
  • ­Following up on debtor’s queries and receipts.
  • ­Monthly review of debtors age analysis with the financial manager.
  • ­Fulfilling full payroll function.
  • ­Bank, Creditors and Petty Cash reconciliations.
  • ­Checking of all expense claims.
  • ­Vendor registrations and BBBEE documentation.
  • ­Assisting and providing auditors with supporting documentation.
  • ­Raising and allocation of sales and purchase invoices.
  • ­Reviewing of income statement and balance sheet balances.
  • ­Providing Bi Annual provisional tax calculations based on profit/loss.
  • ­Ensuring accurate import documentation for all shipments received.

Supply Chain

Imports:

  • Preparing, cataloguing and storing required documents for imports.
  • Administrating and following up of all inbound shipments.
  • Point of contact between freight forwarder and the company.
  • Supporting the supply chain manager with all import administration requirements. 

Distribution:

  • Communicating weekly intake requirements with warehouse.
  • Following up, documenting, and cataloguing invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes on server and providing feedback to supply chain manager and the team.
  • Managing all enquiries for local courier services and any issues that may come up.

Samples/LDU/Seeding Units:

  • Managing all sample devices in the office, including preparing documents, filing documents, logging IMEI status, following up on approvals and distributing devices.
  • Logging the status of all LDU’s seeding units and OA devices, including the status of each LDU and OA device.
  • Assisting the team with any sample device requirements.
