We’re looking for a dynamic Financial Accountant to oversee the financial operations of a diverse portfolio of businesses. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at stakeholder collaboration, and have a passion for driving financial excellence, this role is for you!

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Oversight: Lead the full financial function across a portfolio of businesses, ensuring revenue completeness, cost management, and accurate month-end close processes.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling; provide insight to senior stakeholders for decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, auditors, and procurement departments.
Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance; streamline reporting processes to improve accuracy and turnaround.
Team & Process Leadership: Manage finance operations, coach junior staff, and lead the coordination of accounting functions including debtors, creditors, payroll, and general ledger.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: BCom in Accounting and/or Finance (or equivalent financial degree).
Experience: Minimum of 6–8 years in a finance leadership role managing end-to-end finance operations.
Technical Proficiency: Strong general ledger knowledge, financial systems literacy, and advanced Excel skills essential.
