POSITION INFO:
Financial Accountant - Johannesburg North

Responsibilities:

Own the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process for investment entities and management companies.
Collaborate with investment teams to analyze portfolio performance and ensure the accurate valuation of holdings.
Prepare and maintain capital account statements, waterfall calculations, and investor reports.
Support audits, compliance requirements, and fund structuring activities.
Work closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders on strategic financial planning.

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, and CPA) or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally within investment management, private equity, or asset management.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, consolidations, and fund accounting.
Advanced Excel skills & familiarity with financial systems.
A proactive attitude, analytical rigor, and a sharp commercial sense.
