POSITION INFO:
Join a respected name in the financial services industry as a Financial Accountant. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency — from VAT calculations to full reporting cycles. Expect hands-on exposure to debt and micro-lending operations, leadership opportunities, and direct involvement in strategic finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate reconciliations and maintain robust financial controls
Handle VAT calculations, reconciliations, and submissions in line with SARS and local legislation
Manage PAYE, income tax, and other statutory submissions
Oversee general accounting and reporting functions
Lead and mentor a team of 2

Job Experience and Skills Required:

ð Education: BCom Degree (SAICA/SAIPA qualification advantageous)
ð Experience:
- Minimum 2 years post-articles or 5 years finance experience without articles
- Financial services background essential; debt/micro-lending exposure a plus
- Proven VAT and tax compliance expertise
- Skilled in reconciliations, reporting, and team supervision
