POSITION INFO:
Our client, a family-owned business proudly part of a larger national retail group, is looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to join their team in Springbok, Northern Cape. As the Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of the full finance function, ensuring that financial operations run smoothly and accurately. This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the business — hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting function, including journals, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
- Prepare management accounts and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and group reporting requirements
- Oversee cash flow, creditors, and debtors
- Work closely with operations to support business decisions
Job Experience and Skills Required:- BCom Degree in a related field
- 3+ years within a similar role
- Retail exposure beneficial
