POSITION INFO:
Our client, a family-owned business proudly part of a larger national retail group, is looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to join their team in Springbok, Northern Cape. This company combines the warmth of a family-run operation with the stability and growth opportunities of a larger group - offering the best of both worlds.

As the Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of the full finance function, ensuring that financial operations run smoothly and accurately. This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the business — hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting function, including journals, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
• Prepare management accounts and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and group reporting requirements
• Oversee cash flow, creditors, and debtors
• Work closely with operations to support business decisions

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Degree in a related field
• 3+ years within a similar role
• Retail exposure beneficial
