SUMMARY:
Are you a numbers pro with a passion for fleet management operations? My client is looking for a detail-driven Financial Accountant to manage reporting, compliance, costing, and financial accuracy for a leading East Rand fleet management company. Step into a role where your insights boost efficiency and profitability.

POSITION INFO:
Join a well-established fleet provider with a strong national footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly financial statements
Manage balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and the month-end close
Monitor fleet costs, asset depreciation, fuel spend & maintenance expenses
Oversee VAT, tax compliance & statutory submissions
Assist with budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis
Support internal and external audits & strengthen internal controls

Skills & Requirements:

BCom Accounting / Finance (Honours advantageous)
3–5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant (fleet/transport/logistics experience highly beneficial)
Strong understanding of cost accounting and asset management
Experience with fleet management or ERP systems advantageous
Excellent analytical, reporting & communication skills
