Financial Accountant

SUMMARY:
An energetic and rapidly growing business in the heart of Cape Town’s CBD is searching for a Financial Accountant to strengthen their high-performing finance team.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will possess a BCom, CIMA, AGA(SA), or equivalent qualification, paired with 2–3 years of solid accounting experience. This position provides excellent exposure to multi-entity reporting, revenue and sales processes, as well as foreign currency activities. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Compile monthly management accounts and financial statements for multiple entities.
• Maintain accurate reconciliations and oversee general ledger functions.
• Manage sales, revenue recognition, and foreign currency (FOREX) transactions.
• Provide support with budgeting, forecasting, and analysing variances.
• Assist with audits and ensure adherence to all financial and reporting standards.
• Drive and support continuous improvement within financial processes.

• BCom Accounting, CIMA, AGA(SA), or an equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proven experience working across multiple entities.
• Strong background in revenue, sales, and FOREX accounting.
• High level of accuracy and the ability to work within strict deadlines.
