As the Accountant within this world-class engineering environment, you’ll be the custodian of precision. From IFRS reporting to SAP-driven forecasting packs, you’ll support multiple entities in maintaining strict financial discipline and ensuring compliance across all internal and external frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of day-to-day financial processing and payment functions for smaller group entities
- Prepare journals, complete reconciliations, and update TB accounts in line with IFRS
- Identify financial risks and ensure strict adherence to internal policies and Delegation of Authority
- Support audits, year-end cycles, and continuous process improvement
- Compile and capture flash, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting packs in SAP
- Manage inter-company confirmations and prepare annual financial statements
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, including cash flow reporting to treasury
- Support project accounting, including budget control, spend tracking, and management input
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal SHEQ, environmental, and energy policies
- Execute ad hoc reporting and support group financial functions as required
Job Experience and Skills Required:- BCom Accounting or equivalent Degree (essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS
- Advanced Excel, and experience with SAP S/4 Hana (advantageous)
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
- Strong planning, organisation, and reporting ability
- Adaptable, innovative, and comfortable in a technical engineering environment
