A reputable leader within the mining and engineering sector is seeking a hands-on Operational Accountant to join their dynamic finance team based in Pretoria East.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
Maintain the general ledger and perform reconciliations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Support internal and external audit processes
Provide analytical insights to support cost control and operational performance
Deliver operational finance support across mining/manufacturing-related activities

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom degree (Accounting / Finance)
3–5 years post-articles experience
Strong operational exposure within mining, manufacturing, or engineering
Full Finance Function (GL, Recons, TB) experience
Excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail
