A trusted name in industrial connectivity solutions is searching for a Bookkeeper / Accountant who can bring calm to the chaos, order to the numbers, and confidence to the financial backbone of the business.
This is a part-time, flexible role (three days a week, 9am–3pm) based in Randburg - perfect for someone who wants meaningful work, room to think, and the autonomy to get things done their way.
If you’re the type who can juggle AP, AR, reporting, and compliance without breaking a sweat - and you enjoy being the person that everyone trusts to “just handle it” - this role was designed with you in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounts payable function, including supplier lists, BEE considerations, statements, and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, including customer credit assessments
- Handle BEE reporting: Certificates, system updates, and purchasing accuracy
- Support monthly management accounts and GL reconciliations
- Assist with budget preparation for all departments
- Tackle various ad hoc accounting tasks, from big deadlines to the small details that keep everything moving
Job Experience and Skills Required:- Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong AP & AR exposure
- Experience with BEE compliance (advantageous but not essential)
- Relevant financial qualification (BCom, Accounting Diploma, or similar)
- Proficiency in SAP Business One, Sage, or similar systems
- Solid Excel skills
- Naturally organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Clear communicator who can interact confidently with vendors, customers, and internal teams
- A team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves - no task too big or too small
