POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leading organisation within the manufacturing sector, known for its strong operational footprint, innovation, and continuous improvement culture. As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the full financial accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and support for commercial decision-making.
This role offers exposure to complex manufacturing environments, cost structures, and operational finance—perfect for a newly qualified CA(SA) ready to transition from audit into industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Assist with cost accounting, stock counts, and asset management.
Partner with operational teams to improve financial processes and efficiencies.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: CA(SA) – newly qualified.
Experience: Completed articles with exposure to auditing manufacturing sector clients (non-negotiable).
Skills: Strong IFRS knowledge, advanced Excel, and experience on ERP systems beneficial.
Other: Analytical thinker, strong attention to detail, proactive, eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
