POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity:
A globally recognised brand is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant in Johannesburg North. This role is ideal for a technically strong Accountant who has completed their articles and is ready to step into a commercially driven finance environment. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across core accounting functions while working alongside experienced finance professionals in a fast-paced, well-governed setting. This is a solid opportunity to transition from training into industry while continuing to sharpen your technical and analytical skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day financial accounting activities within the business
Assist with month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting packs
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls

What You Bring:

Completed BCom degree
Completed articles
1–2 years post-articles experience within a financial accounting role
Strong foundational understanding of financial accounting principles
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional corporate environment
