Financial Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant who is eager to learn, develop, and gain broad commercial exposure within a high-performing finance team. The role is based in JHB North and is ideal for a driven NQ CA(SA) looking to build a solid foundation in reporting, analysis, and business partnering.

POSITION INFO:
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly management accounts.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist with consolidations and group reporting requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support process improvements and drive efficiencies within the finance function.
• Assist senior finance management with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements.

• CA(SA) qualification in good standing (non-negotiable).
• Newly Qualified (NQ) candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong technical foundation in IFRS and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eager to learn with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong overall computer literacy (MS Office).
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (essential).
