We are seeking a skilled and detailâdriven
Financial Accountant to take ownership of core
accounting functions and support accurate financial reporting within a structured and fastâpaced environment.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly management accounts, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare statutory returns and support compliance with accounting standards
- Support yearâend processes and liaise with auditors during audits
- Manage VAT and tax calculations and submissions
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Provide financial insight and reporting to management as required
Experience & Qualifications:- 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience
- CA(SA) qualification OR
- BCom Accounting / Financial Management
- Completed SAICA articles with 3–4 years’ postâarticles experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Skills & Attributes:- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Wellâorganised and deadline driven
- Strong problemâsolving skills with sound financial judgement
- Effective communicator with a professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a finance team
