My client, a well-established player within the mining sector, is seeking a highly experienced Accountant to join their operation based in Kempton Park. This role is suited to a seasoned finance professional who is confident managing end-to-end accounting functions in a regulated, asset-intensive environment. Reporting into senior management, the incumbent will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and maintaining strong financial controls while supporting operational teams through sound financial insight and discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for the general ledger and balance sheet integrity
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
- Statutory reporting, including VAT, tax compliance, and audit support
- Fixed asset management and depreciation schedules
- Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
Job Experience & Skills Required:- BCom Accounting
- SAICA/SAIPA Articles
- 3-5 years postâarticles experience
