SUMMARY:

Are you a Financial Accountant who is ready to take endâtoâend ownership of the finance function within a stable and growing business

POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a BComâqualified Financial Accountant with 3–5 years’ experience and completed SAICA or SAIPA articles. The successful candidate will be confident working across daily accounting operations, monthly reporting, compliance, and audits. This role is wellâsuited to someone who values accuracy, accountability, and being fully involved in the numbers behind the business.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the full finance function
Preparing journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly management reporting and yearâend support
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Supporting audits and statutory requirements
Assisting with ad hoc finance and reporting requests

Job experience and skills required:

Education

BCom degree
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles

Experience

3–5 years’ accounting experience in a commercial or professional environment

Skills

Strong fullâfunction accounting capability
Solid technical accounting and reporting skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong ownership and accountability mindset
