SUMMARY:
Financial Accountant: George (CONTRACTUAL)

Our client, a well-known firm specialising in accounting support services for government and private sector clients, is seeking a motivated and detailed-orientated Financial Accountant to join their team on a contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Obtaining reports and ledger information from relevant staff members
analyse information and data
Performing various account reconciliations
Ensuring all supporting documentation corresponds accurately with reconciliations
Compiling working papers for audit fiiiles
Assisting with daily ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Any other ad hoc duties that may be required by management from time to time

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Strong financial and accounting background
Sound understanding of debtor, creditor and other reconciliations
Intermediate to advanced MS EXCEL SKILLS
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Fully computer literate

Excellent attention to detail
High level of accuracy and professionalism
Strong probem-solving and out-of-box thinking abilities
Well-organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Self-motivated and proactive
