POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: An established automotive dealership based in Kempton Park is looking for a detail oriented Financial Accountant to join its finance team. Working within a high-volume dealership environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining strong controls, and supporting the dealership's day-to-day financial operations. The successful candidate will work closely with management and operational teams, providing accurate financial information that supports strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance with statutory and reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities: Behind every successful dealership is a finance team that keeps everything moving. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports Maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger Performing General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations Managing month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments Preparing and submitting statutory reports Ensuring VAT, tax, and statutory compliance Performing variance analysis and investigating discrepancies Assisting with annual financial statements and audit preparations Supporting cash flow management and financial controls Collaborating with operational teams to improve financial performance Assisting with ad-hoc financial reporting and finance projects Job Experience & Skills Required : BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential) 3-5 years' experience as a Financial Accountant Previous Automotive \/ Motor Industry experience is essential Knowledge of Drive IA highly advantageous Strong General Ledger and reconciliation experience Experience with statutory reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical and problem solving abilities Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Apply now!
