POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: Built for a digital world, this innovative insurtech business is changing the insurance experience with app-based solutions that make protecting cars, homes, and valuables quicker, smarter, and more accessible. As a Financial Accountant, you'll do more than balance the books. You'll help drive financial performance in a business that's disrupting the insurance industry. Working alongside a collaborative finance team, you'll gain exposure to technical reporting, strategic analysis, and the financial operations behind one of the country's most forward-thinking insurance businesses. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review IFRS 17 reporting Manage VAT and tax calculations and submissions Analyse operating expenses and insurance claims to identify trends and variances Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements Manage key account reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records Support month-end and year-end reporting while maintaining compliance with financial controls Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential) 3-5 years' experience as a Financial Accountant Insurance industry experience (essential) Strong working knowledge of IFRS 17 Advanced Microsoft Excel and Sage experience Apply now!
