POSITION INFO:
Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports. General ledger accounting and reconciliations. Managing month-end and year-end processes. Assisting with budgets and forecasts. Performing variance analysis and investigating discrepancies. Ensuring accurate and complete financial reporting. Maintaining and improving internal financial controls. Assisting with annual audit preparation and requirements. Working closely with operational stakeholders across the business. Analysing financial information and providing meaningful insights. Identifying opportunities for process improvement. Assisting with ad hoc financial projects and analysis. Job Experience & Skills Required Qualifications: BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles. Experience: 2-3 years' post-articles commercial experience. Strong financial accounting and reporting experience. Experience within an operational environment advantageous. ERP system exposure. SAP or AS400 experience advantageous. Skills: Hands-on and operationally minded. High-energy and driven. Proactive go-getter mentality. Strong ownership and accountability. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Able to work independently and meet deadlines. Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Commercially minded.
