SUMMARY:
Our client in the Industrial Projects industry, has an opportunity available for a Financial Accountant in the Port Elizabeth area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
Additional certification (e.g., CA, SAIPA, CIMA) is a plus
4-5 years'' work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Syspro
In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
Excellent math skills with an attention to detail

KPAs:

Oversee the GRN and creditors functions.
Create and maintain projects in the ERP system.
Filing of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, Tax, etc.).
Perform month-end and close year-end processes.
Preparation for annual financial and BBBEE audits.
Risk management, including insurance.
Provide management with forecasted expenditure and revenue.
