FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – JOHANNESBURG

Any opportunity is here as we are hiring!!!! My client who is in the telecommunication industry is looking for a phenomenal financial accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg. The successful incumbent will be reporting to the Financial Controller.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

3 years’ experience in accounting role in IT and Telecoms industry.
BCom accounting degree.
Reconciliation skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting system

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reconcile bank accounts
Assign cashbook transactions on the accounting system.
Settle account queries
Sustain payment beneficiary records
Work on fixed asset register
Draw up month end reconciliations
Reporting on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Be of service to audit related matters and ad-hoc accounting related projects.
Certify compliance with procurement policy
