JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a diverse and client-centric insurance company, responsible for some of South Africa's most recognizable financial brands is seeking to appoint an experienced FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the preparation, and analysis of accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

This includes:

Preparing monthly and annual financial statements for management and auditing purposes.
Effective daily cash management.
Compiling complete, accurate and timely accounting records on a monthly basis.
Drawing conclusions and assessing impact from analysis and interpretation of financial data.
Supervising a team of junior colleagues.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies required:

BCom Honours (CTA)
3 years + post-articles work experience within financial services
1 year of team management or supervision experience

This role will suit a competent Financial Accountant who is detail oriented, technically confident and who enjoys a stable environment.
