An international entity in Financial Services is seeking a strong and strategic Financial Accountant to join their team!

Patel Evolution
ACCPAC
SARS E-filing

Description

Prepare monthly management accounts
Supervise and manage the Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper and Creditor
Ensure all routine transactions are processed by team members to ensure timeous delivery
Monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts
Review and submit of monthly VAT reconciliations
Attend to SAAS related queries
Manage intercompany loan reconciliations
Inspect and investigate large variances
Prepare variance and profit/loss reports and schedules for management to report to executive committee.
Reconcile of debtors and creditors general ledger to age analysis
Prepare of the general ledger accounts
Prepare fixed asset registers
Variance analysis of month-to-month data and reporting these to management
Compile annual budget figures
Ensure a clean year end close
Handle and deal with Annual External Auditor and Internal Auditors
Keep compliant with Tax Acts, IFRS/IFRS for SME's and other laws/regulations relating to finance
Assist with company project
Report directly to the Group Financial Manager
