An all rounded; listed on JSE concern is looking for a well-rounded, analytical and well-spoken Financial Accountant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Johannesburg accountants who are excited to enter or return to the hospitality industry, this is your opportunity. My client is a well-known entertainment group, operating in the hotel and gaming space. They are looking for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant or Financial Accountant (B.com) with a flair for strategic thinking.

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
Forecast costs and revenues
Manage tax payments
Organize internal audits
Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
Analyze financial trends
Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Newly qualified CA(SA) or B.Com with a professional registration
Out of box thinker to increase profits without sacrificing quality
