A proudly South African manufacturing giant in operation since the late 1980's seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg South.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
A proudly South African manufacturing giant in operation since the late 1980's seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg South.

In this role your responsibilities will include but not be limited to assisting with wages processing and payments, cashbook entries, submission of VAT, month-end journals, credit applications and debtors review, costs analysis reviews, banking and payments, cashflow reviews and assisting in audit preparations.

Education:
BCom in Accounting / Finance

Skills & Experience:
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles beneficial
5 to 6 years' experience within a full function accounting role
Manufacturing industry experience is non-negotiable
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Own transport is essential
Syspro experience will be highly advantageous
Financial acumen
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
