JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:

Financial Accountant role available within a large Insurance company that has been in operation for many years. Our client is looking for someone that has what it takes to work in a complex reporting environment, as this role will be based at their Head Office.

Duties include (but is not limited) to the following:

Month- Year-end Close
Financial Reporting
Management Reporting
Statutory Finance
Tax & Vat
CAPEX Reporting (Capital Expenditure)
Asset Management
Controls & Compliance
IFRS Compliance & Implementation of New Standards

Minimum Requirements: (Non-Negotiable)

Chartered Accountant CA(SA) – Fully qualified and registered with SAICA
Newly Qualified to 2 years’ post articles
Must have strong IFRS17 exposure within the Insurance environment (clients audited or commercial experience)
Consolidations experience highly advantageous
