JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Conducting audits.
Overseeing tax payments.
Preparing budgets for the organization.
Monitoring and reporting on accounting inconsistencies.
Keeping up-to-date with financial policies, practices, and regulations.
Tax Compliance and Day-Day Risk Compliance
Support preparation of annual budget, forecast and projections.
Tax Compliance
FICA / Hyphen Administrator
Tax Compliance and Day-Day Risk Compliance
Monthly Balance Sheet Recons
Monthly General Ledger reconciliation

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Accounting or equivalent
BCom Honours Accounting or equivalent
CA(SA)

Experience:

3 Years’ experience - completed articles within a large audit firm
CaseWare experience is beneficial

Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical skills
Problem solving skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
A self-starter
