JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Manage accounts receivable, issue invoices and chase debtors
Manage accounts payable, payments and reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
Cashbook management
Manage payroll
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Processing of EMP, VAT 201's, and other legislative requirements

Requirements:

Qualifications: Bookkeeping/Accounting or relevant finance qualification
Minimum 2 years proven experience as an account/bookkeeper
Sound knowledge of SARS tax requirements with regards to EMP and VAT
Proficient with MS Office (specifically Excel)
Understanding of BEE requirements
