This is a wonderful opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a multi-award winning company that specializes in creating financial solutions for businesses and consumers from marginalized communities. They do this developing and deploying cutting-edge technology that services businesses and consumers in ways that are creative and effective. The ideal candidate must have a B.Com degree with articles and a passion for the overall company goal of uplifting communities and giving them a way to participate in the economy.

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

Gather and monitor financial data
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
Forecast costs and revenues
Manage tax payments
Organize internal audits
Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
Analyze financial trends
Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Com Accounting – Articles advantageous
Telecommunications industry experience advantageous
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
