JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a listed entity and definitely an Employer of Choice. They require a Financial Accountant in their Group Head Office; to assist with Group Reporting functions for the South Africa Operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Person:
Requirements:

Newly Qualified
Or CA (SA) plus 1 years post articles experience.
''Big 4'' Articles.
Proven technical knowledge of IFRS.
Proficient in MS Excel and SAP system.

Competencies:

The Job:
Prepare and Review Interim and Annual Financial Statements (AFS):

Prepare notes to the group annual financial statements
Perform cross reference checks on the group annual financial statements
Assist with IFRS 16 calculation and group consolidations

Preparation, Consolidation and Review of Budgets and Forecasts, for the South African Operations:

Compile the final budget book
Prepare monthly management account reports and consolidation
Prepare monthly loan reconciliations
Prepare monthly inter-company calculations
Assist with monthly cash flow reporting
Assist with consolidation of weekly sales reporting
Process payments authorisations and online banking administration
Perform technical research into IFRS reporting issues
Report to STATS SA XBRL with XDS, on a quarterly basis
Assist with SAP User Acceptance Testing for group reports
Any other adhoc duties as required by management
