One of South Africa leading mines is currently seeking a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant to fill the available position of a Financial Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has been in operations for over half a century in South Africa and has expanded their operations internationally. They have employed over 20 000 employees from different communities, provinces, as well as other countries. Our client is in search for an individual who is technically strong minded and who has a passion for finance and would be responsible for financial statements, preparing budget reports, liaising with external auditors and supervising junior accounting staff. Duties:

Full financial function
Reconciliations
Preparation of annual financial statements
Derivatives
Consolidations
VAT & Tax
Analyse financial records to check for precision.

Qualification and Experience

Qualified CA(SA)
0 – 2 years post articles experience
Must have audited Mining clients.

Skills:

Advanced knowledge in excel.
