JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
My client has two operating platforms, the Construction Platform and the Mining Platform. The purpose of the role is to assist the financial team with the reporting function.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

CA(SA) with commercial experience
4 months contract in the East rand
5 years’ experience within the construction, engineering or related industry
Conversant in JDE and Hyperion
Detailed Knowledge of consolidations, drafting of annual financial statements and completion
of tax calculations and tax returns
Detailed IFRS knowledge
Prepare tax calculations, tax reconciliations and tax returns
Prepare group reporting templates and requirements
Review group monthly balance sheet recons and prepare reporting packs
Prepare, review and submit monthly / quarterly financial consolidated reports and reconciliation
Assist and review divisional monthly management accounts for reasonability
Plan, manage and execute monthly and year end reporting duties successfully
Assist in preparing consolidated financial presentation for Executive Committee, Board meetings
Complete quarterly reports for Statistics SA & SA Reserve Bank
Completion of annual statutory financial statement
Preparing and managing budgets and forecasts
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (i.e. procurement, petty cash
etc.)
Preparation and review of Group Budgets, Forecasts and Cash Flow Forecasts
