JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
My client is in the market for a CA(SA) Financial Account for a 4-month fixed term contract. The company is within the Infrastructure sector.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

CA(SA) with 4 years commercial experience
Must have passed both boards on their first attempt
Industry knowledge non-negotiable (Engineering, Construction, OEM and Mining)
Prepare the monthly consolidated management accounts as well as the Chief Financial Officer report used for Exco meetings
Maintained the group order book
JD Edwards
Assist the Divisional Managers with queries relating to HFM
Reviewed the divisional margin reports to the submitted results and followed up on variances
Prepared the actual versus budget analysis for the group shared services
Prepared the group business plan and forecast
Complete and submit the group shared services
Complete and submitted StatSA questionnaires
Compile financial statements for various entities, including Botswana
Release payments on the Standard Bank system
Review the monthly VAT calculations and returns for various entities, including Botswana
Assisted with various technical queries
Assist Divisional Financial Managers with specific accounting queries
Liaised with external Auditors
