My client is a market leader in the Pharmaceutical industry and they are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team of dynamic professionals. This company has been in existence for many years and is known for upholding global operational standards. The company is looking for someone who is analytical, detail oriented, deadline driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the following:

Posting and recording accounts payable
Preparing annual budgets
Verifying supplier invoices and payments
Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Commenting on variances between budget and actuals
Processing inter-company recharge journals
Assisting in external audit queries
Dealing with cash-flow forecasts
Implementing, maintaining and improving of financial controls

Education and Experience Required:

CA(SA) designation is mandatory
Advanced Excel skills
Pastel is highly advantageous
Those with Golden Key, or Cum Laude academic achievements are encouraged to apply
