Financial Accountant Assistant

An Automotive component manufacturer seeks an Assistant Financial Accountant, the key job outputs of the function include, but are not limited to:

• To assist and support Financial Manager
• Update and control Fixed Asset Register
• Review, identify and resolve abnormal GL transactions
• Monthly GL account reconciliations and journals
• Proved Monthly Trail Balance for the update of the Monthly Management account
• Review and Report Debtor and Creditors age analysis
• Refresh day financial KPI trackers
• Process monthly payroll recon’s to Mibco
• Record monthly Journals and present for approval
• Assist with the financial yearend audit
• Preparation of the monthly EMP201 and Vat201 as well as submission.

Essential competencies (knowledge/skill) required to perform outputs:

• University Degree/Diploma in Financial Accounting – Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
• Financial Articles or 3-year experience in a Financial position
• Strong in excel and fast learning of ERP system – Syspro 8.2 advantage
• Ability to multi task
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of and actioning financial transactions
