SUMMARY:
Client in the Engineering and Mining Industry requires the services of a Financial Accountant (CA) at their plant in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Area as soon as possible

POSITION INFO:

Are you a vibrant Financial Accountant looking for a company with great perks and a fast paced, collaborative environment? 

Our Client is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to provide and maintain a service, systems and procedures that facilitate minimum disruption and protection of the company’s physical and financial assets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Financial reporting and controlling
• IFRS compliance
• Develop/control systems and procedures
• Treasury management and administration
• Statutory compliance including company tax
• Fixed asset management
• Management of subordinates
• Ad-hoc duties including projects
• Section budget planning and control

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirements

B.Com Accounting Hons (Postgrad Diploma in Accounting or CTA), SAICA Articles, 3 years post article experience

Skills

IFRS,

Tax legislation,

ERP system proficiency (SAP would be advantageous),

MS Office with excellent Excel skills

Personality

Leadership skills, deadline driven, attention to detail, impact and influence, ability to interact with Shareholder’s and Exco, managing work, strategic decision making skills, reliability.
