Are you a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with 2-4 years of post-articles commercial experience? Do you have a keen eye for financial strategy, reporting, and cost control in the Engineering or Construction industry? We’re looking for a Financial Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager to join a dynamic team, where your expertise will play a vital role in financial decision-making, process improvement, and business growth.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis – Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist with the development of budgets, financial models, and cash flow forecasts.
- Financial Controls & Compliance – Ensure adherence to IFRS, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Cost & Project Accounting – Oversee project-related financials, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with internal teams and external Auditors to streamline financial operations.
- Process Improvement – Identify and implement efficiencies to enhance financial systems and reporting.
Requirements:- CA(SA) qualification
- 2-4 years of post-articles experience in a commercial role (Engineering/Construction industry preferred)
- Strong technical accounting skills and IFRS knowledge
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (advantageous)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
