A leader in the insurance space is in urgent need of a Financial Accountant. The organisation has been in existent for decades and is now looking for an individual who is passionate about insurance. They are known for having a great culture hence their employees show longevity within the company. The role would be suitable for an individual who comes from an insurance background. Individuals with IFRS 17 knowledge will be given first preference.

Education:

Qualified CA(SA)
2 – 4 years insurance experience

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Calculation of annual profit commissions
Preparation of general month end journals
VAT and Tax
Dealing with foreign entities and their profit and loss statements
Preparing insurance related journals
