JOB SUMMARY:
Available immediately to work in the East Rand? Fantastic opportunity available for a Financial Accountant - CA(SA) with 2 years commercial experience. Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and reports. Perform duties to ensure compliance with Financial Administration, GAAP, Legislative Compliance and company policies and procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualified CA(SA) with 1-2 years post articles experience essential. Exposure in working on JDE or Hyperion ideal. Key responsibilities include: receive and capture journals in the ERP system; monthly reconciliation and administration of GL accounts for Central Finance; monthly reconciliation of selected creditors and debtors accounts; rebilling of costs across legal entities; maintenance and reconciliation of Municipal accounts; assist with budgets and outlooks; manage expenses in-line with budgets; review cashbook input on a monthly basis; review of reconciliations; forecasting; fixed assets review; attend to audit queries as and when required and perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope. Sound knowledge of VAT rules.
