JOB SUMMARY:
A leading FMCG giant with over 100 years’ industry experience - my client is known for delivering consistent quality products within the industry. Their products can be found internationally as well as within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Financial Accountant CA(SA) you will be involved in completing the logistics financial account of monthly, quarterly and annual financials.

Duties will include:

Reporting packs
Create journal and other ledger transactions to ensure the accounts are valid, accurate and complete
Reconcile and invoice of stock losses to third party providers
Allocate expenditure to various cost centres and general accounts
Support the finance team with various investigation, analysis and reporting requirements when required
Custodian of fixed asset register
Upload budget/forecast in Oracle
Analysing financial data
Assistance with budgeting & forecasting
Streamline accounting function
VAT and tax

Qualifications:

CA(SA)

Job Experience and Skills Required

2 years post articles experience
FMCG/Logistics experience
