SUMMARY:
Enhance financial performance and reporting excellence within a fast-paced and regulated industry as a Financial Accountant, on an exciting 8-month fixed-term contract.

POSITION INFO:
A leading player in the digital entertainment and online services sector is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. The organisation operates in a highly regulated environment and is known for its innovation, data-driven decision-making, and agile work culture. This role offers exposure to complex financial operations and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects.

Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reports, general ledger reconciliations, the processing of journals, assisting with VAT submissions, and supporting audit readiness. The role requires a strong grasp of IFRS principles, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
3–5 years’ experience in a similar Financial Accountant role.
Solid understanding of IFRS and monthly financial reporting.
Strong Excel skills and proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar).
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is advantageous.
