JOB SUMMARY:
Urgently seeking an experience / qualified Financial Accountant for medium size company in the Spartan area. Experience working with Pastel Partner V18 / Sage Pastel payroll.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience working with Pastel Partner V18 / Sage Pastel payroll

Competent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Excel

Numeracy skills/attention to detail

Written and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly reports
Preparation of year end packs for auditor to prepare year end financials
Preparation of monthly cash flow reports
Preparation of month end activities – cash book write-up, bank reconciliation, fixed asset depreciation, reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Preparation and submission of Vat/Emp201 returns monthly
Preparation of year end statutory reports
Perform Supplier Reconciliations, monthly supplier input and liaise regarding discrepancies and disputes. Payments to suppliers
Perform Debtor Reconciliations, sending monthly statements, follow up on outstanding payments and discrepancies
Monthly billing of Debtors
Preparation of monthly payroll
NBCRFLI monthly submissions/year end application
Daily check of load schedules before transfer to Admin
Weekly check of inter branch billing schedules
BEE audit preparation of all verification data required for audit
Assisting senior management with ad-hoc projects and reporting
Overseeing Admin staff ensuring Debtor cut-offs / invoicing / pods are on target. Assisting with any queries
