POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team for a fixed term contract starting in January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accountant with a strong background in a manufacturing environment.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and general ledger management.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Immediately available and based in Pietermaritzburg.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities:

Full-cycle accounting including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
Preparation of financial statements and reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Liaise with management to provide accurate financial insights.
