Position Purpose Statement

This role will report directly to the Financial Manager, but will work closely together with the existing Financial Accountant.
As the company grows more transactions are generated and therefor the need arises to have further segregation of financial duties to ensure that excellence is maintained in the finance department.
The skilled financial person in the new position will be able to assist with normal financial reporting to ensure that the Financial Manager can focus on more specific reporting as the need may arise.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities

This position will be responsible for the following:

Assist in the processing of financial transactions and updating records.
Ensure various financial recons are done and reviewed timeously.
Assist with weekly and monthly reporting.
Check electronic weekly batch payments loaded on the bank.
Assist with annual budgets and forecasts.
Assist with the annual compilation of Financial Statements and the preparation for the financial audit.
Any other financial functions.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements

Knowledge: including education, qualifications and training

Tertiary Qualification required 

Pastel Accounting required

5+ years experience

Salary - market related
