Financial Accountant - Temporary

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive sector based in East London is seeking to employ a Financial Accountant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Job Responsibilities: 

Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) investigations and submit Manual Payment Requests

• Assists with the monthly inter-company reconciliations

• Reconcile inter-company balances and process Accounts payable

• Prepare AP vouchers in clearing of vendor accounts

• Detailed AP reconciliations comparing the company system with Suppliers statement are regularly required

• SOX and internal controls compliance

• Perform general finance administration functions

Job Requirements: 

Minimum Matric, with preferably Diploma or Degree in Accounting

• Minimum 3 years relevant financial experience, with exposure to accounting practices.

• Knowledge of VIP Payroll or any other Payroll system

• Experience in SAP or similar ERP system

Core Knowledge / Skills: 

Advanced PC literacy

• Knowledge of Accounting Systems

• Knowledge of VIP Payroll or any other Payroll system

• Ability to perform duties independently with speed and accuracy

• Critical and analytical thinking

• High ethical standards and behaviors in keeping with Leadership Expectations Model
